Training new bankers

Nine students recently graduated from the Standard Bank ‘Banking Group’ Programme after working on various projects within the bank for three months under the guidance of sponsors and senior managers. This is a leadership and skills development programme designed to recruit and train committed high potential graduates and students from specified universities, said Wilhenica Uiras, Head of Human Resources of the bank.
The graduation was on 30 October after the students spent time assessing various aspects of the bank’s business and add a lot of value to various business units through research, surveys and their subsequent findings.
