Stephan Haenisch has been appointed as regional executive of corporate banking (coastal) with effect from 1 January 2012 in Werner Thesen’s position who retired in December 2011.
Haenisch started his banking career with FNB in 1989. In 1996 he joined Nedbank’s Risk Management department for four years after which he spent five years in Germany working for the Dresdner Bank and the Volksbank in Ludwigsburg and Heilbronn. Upon his return to Namibia in 2005, he joined Bank Windhoek as credit manager and in 2006 he moved to the Corporate Banking Division. “I firmly believe that with the Bank Windhoek’s slogan ‘together we can do better’, we will achieve our aim of being the preferred Bank in Namibia,” said Haenisch.
Danie de Vries has been appointed as relationship support manager. De Vries started his banking career in 2002 and has since held numerous positions in several branches throughout Namibia. De Vries said he is excited to join the team at Bank Windhoek’s Corporate Coastal Division.
