New era in real estate industry PDF Print

It’s not everyday that a small company comes along and turns a whole industry upside down. But now it’s Windhoek’s turn. The ‘low set fee’ concept behind the recently launched real estate upstart, Help-U-Sell, is causing a stir in Namibia’s real estate industry.
For many years now property buyers and sellers have been questioning the high fee’s charged by estate agents, which is normally based on a percentage of the selling price of the owner’s property.

During Namibia’s last property boom in 2004/5 a lot of home owners lost a lot of equity on a sale in the form of commissions. In many cases, because of the high demand, property prices were artificially increased because of the percentage commission structure.
Now Help-U-Sell Namibia is providing a real alternative. They do not charge a percentage commission and they guarantee a full service and big savings for both buyers and sellers through their internationally acclaimed ‘low set fee’ business model. The ‘low set fee’ is payable only on registration, and every one is in on the deal from the beginning, buyers and sellers can negotiate directly with each other knowing that the fee will not change with the price. This eliminates the fear by the sellers of losing out on their property’s net worth and places them in a position to close a sale with the help of Help-U-Sell.
Help-U-Sell franchises are growing at a very rapid rate and in both the Unites States and South Africa they are making huge strides in the property industry. They were recently rated by Entrepreneur Magazine as the real estate franchise with the largest percentage growth.
Then just eighteen months ago Help-U-Sell launched in South Africa, where it has been hugely successful, delivering massive savings to property buyers, and enhancing the whole trend of ‘owner sales’ with their full service guarantee and advertising exposure for property sellers through proven marketing strategies.

Now they have come to Namibia to do the same.
Marius Prinsloo, the Managing Director of the new Help-U-Sell franchise in Namibia said, “After studying the needs of property buyers and sellers in Namibia, and more especially in the Windhoek area, where demand for middle income housing is very high, we decided to open our first office here. Already we have seen huge interest in the new “low set fee” service we offer, which is designed to help people sell their properties, enabling them to retain a much larger portion of the equity they have
built up, and saving both sellers and buyers thousands of dollars.”
The new Help-U-Sell office is conveniently situated on the corner of Feld and Lazarette Streets between Maerua Park and Windhoek’s CBD, and they can be contacted on telephone 061-306100 or via their website www.helpusell.com.na .
