Klippenberg celebrates 50th Anniversary PDF Print
Written by Staff Reporters

The Klippenberg Arts & Craft Festival celebrates its fifth anniversary on 27 and 28 July opening the festivals with a choiral competition.
The following day will comprise performances by artists and musicians, stalls, raffle and more attraction at its base at the Klippenberg Country Club in Karibib.

The late Archie van der Ploeg, the founder of the Klippenberg Arts & Craft Festival, envisaged the event as an opportunity to train young people in the various art forms. Consequently, a major portion of the net income will be put into a fund for this purpose.
A high-quality Festival website will provide the latest information about the exhibiting artists, and participating musicians. This website will be mentioned in the national and the international press, giving all participants maximum exposure.
To ensure well representation at the Klippenberg Arts & Craft Festival website, organisers would require a short synopsis detailing business and a photograph of the participant; preferably, or a few photographs/scans of one’s work.
All participating artists will be invited to a “Meet and Greet” on Friday evening at 19h00.  The evening will provide those moving in artistic circles with the opportunity to exchange ideas. Food and drinks will be available.
