Ondangwa awakens as northern industrial giant |

The new NORED headquarters currently under construction in Ondangwa is a sign that better things are coming to the North. The project is one of the many that have attracted investors to the region and likewise, a number of government ministries and institutions are relocating their regional offices to the town. The popular Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair is taking place from this Friday onwards, and more interest is expected to be generated for such projects. Among the companies that are competing for clients in the North are finance houses, mobile telephone companies and other service providers. See Page 9 for more Trade Fair stories.
