Robert Mugabe was highly respected and loved by many, but his
selfishness is his own downfall. He did assist many, but by wanting to
cling to power for life, that is crazy. I mean he started losing
support because of his behaviour, attitude. What are the African Union
(AU) and Southern African Development Community (SADC) doing? Do these
two organizations really care?I understand why one would not want to interfere. This is a crisis, people are struggling, shop shelves are empty, children are affected, and there is definitely a need to help by ensuring that all parties can have peaceful campaigns and all are safe. I am not expecting the other nations to tell the Zimbabweans how to run their country, but just help with safety and security of all. Tell Mugabe to accept the outcome of the elections and step down if he loses. What is the use and purpose of all these international organisations/bodies that are not doing much? POLITICS, the world’s biggest downfall! Why do political party leaders have too much power that even people within the party are too scared to air their comments whenever they have different views or opinions to express? Why are they given that much power or have to hold on for a long time? No wonder this craziness. African politicians give themselves too much power. They know they can get away with almost anything while the masses with keep their distances. My request to the world is – let people who get involved in politics, be people who really want to represent people and fulfill their promises. They shouldn’t get into such positions for financial gain and benefits. |
