In the Graeco-Roman wrestling, the wrestlers uses only their arms and upper bodies to attack whereas in the Freestyle category wrestlers can use their legs for pushing, lifting and tripping, and they can hold opponents above or below the waist. Bank Windhoek sponsored the Namibian Wrestling Federation with funds that will go towards the wrestlers’ preparation for the Commonwealth Games. Present to receive the cheque was (from left-back) Dawie Augustyn (Team Manager), Paavo Hihangwa, Tromp Conradie, Jaco de Greeff (Coach), (from left-front) Phillip Balhao and Angula Shikongo. |
