Following the success of phase one, and in response to the overwhelming demand for further sessions, Old Mutual will again host a seminar for Small and Medium Enterprises under the theme “Sustaining your business is a tool to excellent performance” in northern Namibia.
The emphasis will be on Small and Medium Enterprises, as they represent
some 80% of businesses in Namibia. A video highlighting various
emotional challenges within family-owned businesses, such as a father
(owner) who struggles to relinquish control of the business to a
successor, and the rivalry that may exist between siblings, will be
showcased.
The seminar will further put forward practical solutions to challenges facing these businesses and suggest ways to successfully manage them towards profitability and sustainability. It will also address other equally important aspects such as corporate governance, succession planning processes and how best to establish legal structures and solutions to ensure sustainability of the Small and Medium Enterprises. |
