raining Centre in Katima Mulilo is open to all those that wish to gain skills and knowledge on various professions. The centre accepts all, Grade 10 and 12 school leavers that are willing to work on their future through literacy.

The Zambezi Vocational Training Centre offers practical courses like welding and fabrication, bricklaying and plastering, plumbing and pipefitting, joinery and cabinet making, clothing craft, information technology and office administration.
Due to its location and the fact that there are no accommodation facilities at the centre, most of its students are from the region. The centre believes it achieves the objectives set through its aim of helping make the lives of the youth worthwhile through training and education.
From the courses offered at the centre, it is convinced that the learners who complete their studies and training do not have to rely on government for jobs, but can employ themselves.
The centre is strengthened by its firm belief that going the vocational training way to gain more skills and knowledge results in one becoming an entrepreneur.
The Zambezi Vocational Training Centre offers short courses and the normal three-year courses. All that is required is for one to complete applications forms that are accompanied with a fee of N$20. Once selected, one will have to write a test and go through an interview for the final interview.
