Ilan Baruch, the Ambassador of Israel
to South Africa, on Wednesday this week officially launched the
Namibia Israel business alliance, and proposed a toast to Israel's
60th Anniversary. “For a small and very young nation,
Israel has already produced more than a fair share of Nobel
laureates. Last year, an Israeli scientist were credited with having
created a featherless chicken as a contribution to boosting
productivity, I am not sure that the generic work on the featherless
chicken will win its inventors a Nobel Prize!” said the ambassador.
Prominent business people and top government officials graced the
event. See article on page 6. (Photograph by Lukas Haufiku)
