Corporate golf competition for medals |

With corporate
golf continuing to enjoy growth, golf outings and related activities
have become an effective way for many companies to bring their sales
teams, customers and partners closer together. The Heineken Gold
championship was held on 19 April at the Windhoek Country Club Resort
and Casino Golf grounds.
Hugh
Mortimer, the Golf Club's General Manager, said the hunt
for the “Green Jacket” continued as the golfers played for medals
in various divisions. There are three divisions, and the various
winners of the different tournaments will go through to the finals
planned for September. Mortimer said
the final Medal Competition has three tournaments stages,
through which the players can qualify for the finals. The past
weekend winners were Hafeni Nghinamwaami (A Division), Sakkie Matheus
(B Division) and Clinton Dodds (C Division).
