The Miss Namibia 2008 beauty pageant competition was officially launched last week and all beauties are encouraged to enter. Conny Maritz, the National Director of the pageant, said what is required from the entrants is that they should be between 18 and 24, single and never married or given birth. The closing date for entries is 15 May. This annual event leads up to other major international beauty pageants like Miss World and Miss Universe. Windhoek Country Club and Resort.
