We refer to an article published in you newspaper of 7 March to 13 March 2008 under the heading “Cement barons continue with exploration”.
Unfortunately this article does not reflect the true shareholding of Ohorongo Cement (Pty) Limited. It is correct that the majority shareholder is the German family-owned business, Schwenk Zement KG. The minority shares are held by Philco Forty Two (Pty) Limited and Mr. Peter Koep is most definitely not a shareholder of that company and does not hold any shares whatsoever in Ohorongo Cement (Pty) Limited. He is, however, a director of the company.
