Windhoek launched the second Banking Buzz School Road Show which forms part of the bank's youth education
programme, this week. Riaan van Rooyen, the bank's Head: Corporate
Communication and Social Investment said the initiative is to educate Namibian
youth on financial literacy, how a bank operates, why it is important to save
and how to manage pocket money. During the event’s launch, it was announced
that Stefan Ludik (pictured), the bank's ambassador, will visit 24 schools. Ludik
had this to say: “Bank Windhoek Solo is designed to give Namibian youth the
financial independence they desire.” |
