Listening and watching the current unfolding political
events beat watching reality television shows such as Bogged Brains or Pooping
Idiots. With political reality TV, there is blood, sweat, fights, and many
other unnerving events that make television interesting. The talent of politicians is
just as raw. When and where will the public ever get to have a politician
saying – on record – that his opponent is “a prostitute” and “a frog puffing itself
up to the size of an ox?”
Hilarious, classic stuff, isn’t it? For the record that was
President Robert Mugabe in a television interview with the Zimbabwe
Broadcasting Corporation. Personally I loved the interview so much I downloaded
the transcript.
Back to the politics in the house. In South Africa - yes it
is an old topic but wait for this – the campaign got so heated that the dear
old mother of one had to step out of her hut to explain her son's aloofness and
arrogance by attributing it to the son's super intelligence. Brilliant, isn’t
it?
