Reinforcing prides itself as the oldest and largest reinforcing steel supplier

Steeledale Reinforcing & Trading in Namibia, the company says it operates
sophisticated reinforcing yards in southern Africa, with computerized machines
and planning techniques that ensure accurate and timeous deliveries on site. In Namibia, like
elsewhere in the region branches and deports are manned and managed by
dedicated, highly trained and experienced people to ensure competitive prices
and competent service on any project.
Steeledale
Reinforcing is primarily engaged in the supply of cut and bend reinforcing
steel top the building and civil engineering industries, as well as the on-site
management and fixing of the reinforcing steel subcontract through
subcontractors.
It says it
also specializes in detailing rebar to engineering designs, supplying special
bent reinforcing for use in various mine support activities and mesh
reinforcing.
Steeledale
Reinforcing grew from a merger in November 2000 of two established companies in
the reinforcing industry, Steeledale Reinforcing & Trading Company and
Amalgamated Reinforcing Contractors.
It says its
client base is in the civil engineering and building industry, government and
semi state organizations.
It works
closes in close association with sister companies Steeledale Mesh, a company
manufacturing all types of reinforcing and special meshes, and Armsteele
Systems, a specialist engineering subcontractor in the field of prestressing
and post tensioning.Autonomous
provincial head offices and factories under the control of long serving,
experienced managers are located in Cape Town, Durban, Welkom and Gauteng in
South Africa.
In turn,
regional head offices control factories in most major cities and towns
throughout South Africa, offering the complete service of supply, cutting,
bending and fixing of reinforcing steel and mesh.
Through Armsteele
International, the company’s continental presence is maintained via operations
in Namibia, Lesotho and Botswana.
