Viewers will be able to watch the latest series of Game of Thrones at the same time as their American counterparts, with out any delays.

MultiChoice has announced that M-Net Edge, channel 102 on DStv, will simulcast season 5 of HBO’s Game of Thrones when it launches in the United States of America on 12 April 2015.

This will be the first time television viewers will be able to watch an international drama series at exactly the same time as their American counterparts.
Namibia will be among 170 countries where the series will be simulcast, with episodes set to air at 3:00 on Monday mornings starting 13 April 2015.
Last year M-Net introduced “Express from the US” which offered viewers the option of watching new episodes of this acclaimed international series within 24 hours of its overseas air date.
Though some shows reached our screens one hour after their American premiere, this is the first time there will be no delay between the airing. Viewers who prefer a good night’s sleep to being ahead of the office chatter can watch the same episodes on Thursday at 21:00, with the first episodes scheduled for 16 April 2015.
M-Net Edge is available to subscribers of the DStv Premium bouquet.
