Namib Mills, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, has joined the Team Namibia initiative in the quest to “boost its position in the market”, according to managing director Johan von Wielligh.

He said this will be done by suing the company's competitive advantage of being Namibian in manifesting its number one position in the market.
Namib Mills is the producers of wheat, mahangu and maize meal flours under the well recognised brands of Top Score, Bakpro and Meme Mahangu. The company is also the country's leading manufacturer of pasta products under the name Pasta Polana.
“We are of the opinion that Team Namibia and Namib Mills share a common vision that includes achieving the development goals of ensuring Namibia's self sufficiency by 2030,” said von Wielligh.
Team Namibia is a campaign aimed at promoting the consumption of Namibian manufactured products.
Namib Mills boosts maize, wheat and mahangu mills in Windhoek, Otavi and at Katima Mulilo.
