Sir, - In this year’s budget speech our minister of finance announced that the amount that may be contributed towards retirement provision and deducted from your taxable income will be increased from N$30000 to N$40000 per annum.

The applicable act is of course in place and it is only a matter of changing the figure in the existing act. It therefore does not require major legal input.
When does she envisage this increase to become effective and what can be the reason for the delay?
