Backed by a dark night sky, a mobile Wesbank Transport crane and abnormal-load truck prepare to offload a 100 tonnes of cargo that arrived this week in an Antanov 225 at the Hosea Kutako International Airport. Woker Freight Services, a Manica subsidiary chartered the massive cargo aircraft to fly the cargo in for the Greater Plutonio, a gigantic support vessel for the oil exploration industry that is expected in Walvis Bay on 26 January. Discharging the cargo started on Wednesday evening and carried on through Thursday. Wesbank Transport has been tasked to move the cargo, described only as "specialised" by Woker Freight, from Windhoek to the port of Walvis Bay by road. The Antanov 225 Mrija is the only one of its kind. It was built by the Russians to transport space shuttles and space equipment.
