M+Z Motors has made the first donation of more than N$9000 and computers to the Otjikondo Children’s Foundation. The donation is derived from a fixed percentage of all vehicles sold at M+Z Motors starting in October 2006. This pledge by M+Z Motors to the Foundation will continue throughout 2007. The donation is the result of the corporate social involvement of M+Z Motors to education and the upliftment of our children. “In addition to a generous donation of a Daimler-Chrysler on the occasion of our centenary celebrations as the M+Z Group, M+Z Motors has pledged to donate a fixed percentage of all vehicles sold since October of this year to the Otjikondo Children’s Foundation for the benefit of learning,” said Verena Grüttemeyer, Managing Director of M+Z Motors. She added, “We will carry on making this kind of donation to the Foundation until the end of next year. This kind of involvement is vital if we as a nation are to achieve to goals of Vision 2030. The private sector needs to make a substantial contribution toward nation building and this is our effort. We would like to thank our loyal customers for helping to make this donation possible.”
