What happened
The gradual decline of autumn continues as
the sun and its associated earthly weather patterns recede towards the northern
summer. Daytime maximum temperatures climb to just short of 30 degrees Celsius
and nighttime minimums descend to the near zero by dawn. Moist air has also
departed, dew-points descend to minus temperatures during the daytime.

What happened?
While the more optimistic expectations came to
nothing where rainfall was concerned, there were still the remains of the
departing weather pattern to be considered. Buitepos, which has experienced a
dry year, received a useful 15 mm. The cold air invasion swept through much of
the interior and the promise of rain in, particularly, the southwestern fringe
of Namibia was fulfilled.

This
rainfall season, covering the 9 months from September to May, so far has seen
some dramatic events. The weather patterns of the entire planet reacts to the
atmospheric patterns occurring in the Pacific Ocean, more particularly in the
southern Pacific.
