The Namibian Premier League champions, Black Africa has signed a one-year partnership agreement  with German Bundesliga club 1899 Hoffenheim.
According to Black Africa’s chairman, Cassius Moetie, this partnership is a “great initiative” as it will enhance the relationship between the players of Black Africa and Hoffenheim.
Moetie said his team will also gain a lot of skills as coaches and other technical team members will be sent to Germany for training at a later stage.
The main objective of the agreement is that there is an exchange of skills and resources between the two clubs. It is in line with this that the two teams will take each other on in a friendly match on Sunday, 12 February at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
Regarding the match, Moetie said: “we don’t know them, this is our first encounter with them.”
He added that the game is not about winning or losing, but rather about exchanging expertise as the European footballers have a different approach towards football from that of Africa.
Moetie said that they, however, plan on blending both styles and promised football fanatics a great match on Sunday.
The German U/23 team is also scheduled to play against the SKW  Ramblers team at the Independence Stadium on 10 February at 19:00 and against the Brave Warriors invitational team on 16 February.
