The ninth annual Michelle McLean Children Trust and Metropolitan Golf Day was recently launched in Windhoek. The event, sponsored by Metropolitan to the tune of N$70 000 will take place on 9 December at the Rossmund Golf Course in Swakopmund. The funds raised from the tournament will benefit needy children. A total of 45 teams will participate in the tournament.
There is no space available for teams to enter any more, but the Michelle McLean Children Trust invites other companies to make use of the opportunity to sponsor prizes at the tournament.
Pupkewitz Honda sponsored a Honda Jazz for a hole in one (Hole 12) while Namibia Rugby player, Heinz Koll donated an item for auction.
