Barely three years after graduating from the University of Namibia, 25 year old Betty Ndafediva is already spearheading a fast growing company that she co-owns with Author Mutikori.
Corporate Edge Incorporation is a BEE reputable accounting services provider that was established in 2010 and has already brought first of its kind conferences to Namibia. One of the conferences, tendering and procurement, which was held last year, offered training to staff from companies such as the Motor Vehicle Fund (MVA), Luderitz Town Council, Omuthiya Town Council as well as the Ministry of Education in Rundu.
According to co-owner Ndafediva, her company has been getting positive feedback from clients and would like to establish itself as one of the best financial or management consultant companies in Namibia. They are currently working towards establishing partnerships in South Africa and Botswana and hopes to establish their presence in the larger SADC region.
The young and determined Ndafediva said her company has seen a huge gap in the Namibian financial sector for a fully Namibian company that will guide SMEs and upcoming entrepreneurs from scratch to full profit making corporate entities. On those grounds, Capital Edge works alongside its clients all the way to the realisation of their goals.
“We constantly seek to deliver trainings that add value through enhanced staff performance as well as individual self skill development,” she said.
Ndafediva encouraged the youth to follow their dreams with perseverance and persistence until they get what they want and build assets when young, instead of chasing after “social show-off”.
“We need more Pupkewitzs and Indongos, but I can’t see that in today’s young people. It’s high time we strive for financial freedom, which can only be done through entrepreneurship,” she concluded.
Corporate Edge Incorporation has three permanent employees and five facilitators who work on a temporary basis in assisting with the company’s workshops.
