In response to a request by the Office of the Prime Minister dealing with marginalised communities, Ehanga Holdings this week donated basic necessities to the value of N$10,000 to the David //Khamuseb Primary School hostel in the Kunene Region. The company decided to make the donation after its management heard reports that some children at the hostel have been sleeping on the floor. Items donated included amongst others, 41 blankets, 41 mattresses as well as 250 (155gr) tins of fish. Ehanga has also decided to adopt the school as part of its social responsibility programme and will put resources aside annually for the school. General Manager of Ehanga Holdings handed the donation to Gerson Kamatuka, Deputy Director: special project at the Office of the Prime Minister. (Photograph by Lorato Khobetsi)
